Aiko Hama Illustrator, Graphic Designer After graduating from Kuwasawa Design School, Hama began her career in graphic design at Susumu Endo Studio, becoming independent in 2016. She has since worked on illustration and graphic design projects for books, magazines, and advertisements, while continuing to create personal artworks. Her work blends collage, painting, printmaking, semi-three-dimensional forms, and drawing. She is a member of the Tokyo Illustrators Society (TIS).
When something I have made truly feels right, I am filled with a sense of nostalgia— as if I have reunited with a scene once witnessed by another version of myself within me. By listening closely to that inner voice, I hope to keep creating works that carry both joy and sorrow.
